Pietà
The name of the van is chosen. After a lot of ideas, choices and discussions we chose the name. As our family is catholic and lives near “Serra da Piedade”, the name was chosen to pay tribute to our Heaven Mother.
Arriving in Uruguay
January 13th, 2018 The day before yesterday, the eleventh, the trip was very tiring. We traveled eight hundred kilometers. We left Sauce Viego at nine o’clock and arrived in Punta del Este at eleven p.m. Everybody was exhausted. We passed through customs from Argentina to Uruguay. There they inspected our van. In the fridge there were tomatoes, eggs, apples, onion, bananas and carrots. They told us it is prohibited to go into the country with animal and vegetal products. He picked up the eggs, the carrot and the onion. There was no mountain in this region of Argentina and Uruguay we passed. It is plain. It predominates the soy, corn and sunflower plantations.
