Teaching English on the road

All is ready, the baggages, the food to eat during the trip, the documents. We left Itajubá, in the south of the State of Minas Gerais, on December, 27th to Atacama Desert, in Chile. Dispite of reviewing the check list of the trip, we forgot part of food to eat at breakfast. We had to eat bread with olive oil because we forgot ham, cheese and cream cheese. Jesus was exposed to be adored. We prayed to take a blessed trip. The place is very beautiful and transmits a lot of peace. Everything is very clean and well-cared. In Argentina it is demanded a drawbar, two fire extinguishers, two triangles and white reflective stripes on the lateral side of the van. On the front side of the van they demanded a continuous white stripe. On the back it is demanded a red continuous stripe. As Chile doesn’t belong to the Mercosul System we have to take the passport. It’s demanded a trip life insurance called Soapex. The other countries, such as Argentina and Uruguay the life insurance is called "Carta Verde". Nowadays, for these countries, it is important to take the yellow fever vaccine. People are not demanded to take it, but we took the vaccine. 

Now we have to prepare the bedroom: a double size bed. My husband proposed to build the bed. He bought the wood and prepared all the necessary tools to build it. On a beautiful Saturday morning, he began working. He made the bed frame. Under the bed he made some shelves to put all the necessary things to be used during the trip:  the gas cylinder to warm the shower water, the spare tire, the hose to supply of water in the van, an extension to supply of the electricity in the  home. There are places to put some baggages and boxes with personal things. We put the cleaning material with a bucket.

The first part is ready: a Kitchen with two ring cooker, fridge and sink... and the most important of everything: water is flowing. The bathroom is ready too: a small sink, a toilet bowl with feces crusher and a shower.
