Flat tyre

Yesterday was the hardest day of the trip. In the morning Peter’s camionete had a flat tyre. Mr. Hélio had a product that put into the tyre and it closed the hole until find a place to repair it. After put the product and we drove about a hundred kilometers to find a place to repair the tyre. While it was been repaired my husband saw that our van had a flat tyre, too.

While the tyres were being repaired the women cooked lunch. Peter woke up six o’clock a.m. to grill some meat. So for lunch we had grilled meat, rice with peas and chips. After driving twenty minutes  we stopped to have lunch near the hiolic energy plant.

As we took a long time to go up from San Pedro del Atacama to Purmamarca we had to sleep in Susques. Mrs. Mary, Dodora, Peter and Lícia wanted to sleep in a hostel but there was no bedroom free. We parked the cars in the parking lot of the hostel, asked the owner the permission to park there,  had a soap in the restaurant. There was a group of motor cyclers in the reHe staurant. We met a guy, Rodrigo, from Belo Horizonte. He was going with the group in an expedition to Atacama. 

It was very cold there. My husband didn’t want to pick the sleeping bag it was  on the back part of the van. So we felt cold. About 4 o’clock in the morning I woke up with and dry mouth and nose and with difficult of breathing. It is terrible the sensation  I felt.
