Iquique

Yesterday we went to Laguna Cejar y Tebenquiche. This is the ideal place to rest and enjoy the nature. We left San Pedro del Atacama on January, 6th to Iquique, on the Pacific Coast. The Atacama Desert is in fact marvelous. The mountains, the valleys, the salares, everything is so different and beautiful. I don’t have any words to tell you my feelings. You have to go there to feel the place. It is magic. The landscape is marvelous. In each road curve you see a different scenery. You don’t get tired to see the landscape. There is new scenery in each moment.

On the way we saw many industry plants.

We got surprised when we saw Iquique. We got there in the evening time. It is a city on the seaside. A very clean city. We could see cars parked on the sidewalk. It is very strange for Brazilian People.

We went straight ahead for Duty Free Stores. We bought three bags, two wallets, a beautiful watch, three French perfums and a male sweater.

As it was Sunday the squares were full of people.

The cars stop to people cross the streets. We slept in a camping in front of the sea.
